As part of the cooperation between ESPT-Angola CIE and various companies, the CIE hosted the French company Saint-Gobain at its facilities for a presentation of its services, with the aim of establishing a collaborative relationship.
Saint-Gobain Visits
On July 17, 2026, ESPT-Angola CIE hosted a visit from the executive team of the French company Saint-Gobain, which is headquartered in Angola. The visit took place at the CIE’s facilities, where all services already provided by the center were presented, as well as future services. The visit began in the conference room, then moved on to the three laboratories located at the center(YetoLab, MetaLab, and DigiLab), where a demonstration was given of all the services provided in each unit. The group then toured the center’s support rooms, and finally, a briefing was held that culminated in a partnership agreement between the parties, during which a verbal cooperation agreement was reached; this agreement would later be formalized in writing.
This visit allowed the company to learn about the services the center can provide, and it also opened the door for the center to conduct scientific research and publish articles based on the company's database.
